Students develop a competition robot through the practical cycle of designing, building, programming, testing, competing, and improving. No prior experience is required.

Competition experience
KNEWPLAY began supporting Canadian V5RC teams in the 2023–2024 Over Under season. In that first season, a supported team won the Ontario high-school provincial championship and qualified for the VEX Robotics World Championship.
Supported teams have continued to earn awards in Canada and advance to the World Championship in subsequent seasons.

No. The competition program accepts students with and without previous robotics or competition experience.
The program is for students from middle school through Grade 12. Younger students may inquire about non-competition foundation learning.
The V5RC Competition Team Program is organized one season at a time. Participation plans are discussed around the student's goals and intended competition involvement.
There is no single standard price. The season fee depends on competition participation, objectives, and required support.
No. The program provides an environment, resources, guidance, and opportunities for development and competition, but cannot guarantee awards, rankings, or qualification.
